Interview: Jeff Hole
Tatiana: Tell me a little about yourself.
Hi, I'm Jeff. I'm a 29-year-old software administrator for a development company... with a finance degree. I was born August 21st, 1987 so I'm definitely a Regal One. I love playing baseball and golf and I'm a pitcher in a 25+ league.
TA: Tell me about your first 3EB show. What was it like?
JH: My first 3eb show wasn't until 2007 at the University of Rhode Island where I smoked a blunt in a tree on campus with my buddies before going in and didn't sleep until about 4 a.m. because of the post-concert high.
TA: What 3EB song means the most to you? Why?
JH: The song that means the most to me, after much deliberatio, is Dopamine because that song gives off such good vibes and I'm an extremely laid back, happiness-loving individual.
TA: What is your favorite interaction with the band? Why?
JH: My favorite interaction with the band was in October of 2015 in Nashville where I met the entire band, got pictures, autographs, and chatted with all of them. Plus, on top of that I met so many incredible Misfits that I will never forget and we're amazing people.
TA: What's your favorite song(s) to hear live? Why?
JH: Wounded, Bonfire (from the “Dopamine” tour), Get Me Out of Here, Slow Motion... because they are all amazing live!!!!!
If you could road trip with one member of the band, who would you choose? Where would you like to go?
JH: If I could road trip with any member it would be Kryz. He's an avid photographer and he's Irish!!!! Also he’s a very cool guy who comes out of tour buses double fisting beers. He seems to love Japan, I've never been, but I want to go... so Japan would be an awesome destination!
If you could help choose 5 songs to put on a set list, which ones would you choose? Why?
JH: Five songs I would like on a set list would be the four mentioned above, and Motorcycle Drive-By. These songs are all so amazing and live I feel they're even better.
TA: Best 3EB show?
JH: The best 3EB show would be Lupos in Providence, RI... I believe 2010 on 4/20. My friends and I were standing right behind the bar, having joints with the bartenders, and loving the set.
TA: I heard Kopp is your doppelgänger. Tell me about the first time you met him.
JH: The first time I met Kopp was on the balcony at the Masonic in San Francisco, “Dopamine” tour, July 2015. He was heading back to the hotel before the show while I was outside with my buddy and his girlfriend. He knew me from the tweets I had sent and when I shouted out his name he got pumped. It made me feel like we knew each other already haha!
