ROZES

ROZES

If you’ve been to Alex Kopp’s Twitter recently, you've probably noticed the pinned post promoting his ROZES remix, “Hangin’ On.” That’s what first led me to her. Yes, her! At first I assumed ROZES was a band, but the music is actually from solo artist, Elizabeth Mencel, who uses ROZES as her stage name.

ROZES hit #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 with the work she did with The Chainsmokers. The single ‘Roses’ was especially hard to avoid, in fact, the only way you have not heard this song is if you lived under a rock between 2015 and 2016. She hit up the Mohawk in Austin, TX during the Official SXSW shows last year, as well as other summer festivals. When she heads back out for shows, she'll probably appreciate this fun article with Alex Kopp on Tour Tips

While you’re staying tuned for tour dates, make sure you check out her latest release, “Famous.” My personal favorite songs are "Boys on Girls", and "Matches" with CASH CASH. When listening to "Matches", you’ll no doubt have ‘how are ya on my mind, you’re not even talking to me….’ stuck in your head for days. I think we all have that habit of a letting an old flame pop in our heads even when communication is non-existent. What better way to express that feeling than with a dance hit!? Ha!
