3EB Expert of the Week: Britni Edney.
Tatiana: Hello Britni. Tell me a little about yourself.
Britni: I'm Britni! I'm a 21 year old lifelong fan of Third Eye Blind. I'm a college senior about to complete my degree in molecular biology, and I plan on applying to dental school after graduating. When I'm not at school, I work as a server at a steakhouse, spend time with my boyfriend Tanner, and cuddle with my fat cat, Yuki.
T: What 3EB song means the most to you?
B: This is a tough one to answer. “Wounded,” probably. Having survived sexual abuse at a young age, I really connect with the message in this song. It's so freeing to ride around with the windows down, screaming along with SJ, "That's just my battle scar!"
T: Have you met the band?
B: Sadly, I have not yet met the band.
T: What's your favorite song(s) to hear live?
B: My favorite songs to hear live are “Water Landing,” “Slow Motion,” and “Wounded.”
T: If you could have dinner with one member of the band, who would you choose?
B: Stephan. Although, he probably wouldn't be able to enjoy his dinner, because I would have so many questions to ask him.
T: If you could help choose five songs to put on a set list, which ones would you choose?
B: “Faster,” “Water Landing,” “Alright Caroline,” “Motorcycle Drive By,” and “Another Life.”
T: Best 3EB show? Why was it the best for you?
B: The best 3EB show for me would be the most recent one I attended in December 2016. After waiting outside in the freezing cold for hours, my friend Lauren and I secured our spots against the rails. It was so magical getting to experience a show with someone I had connected with through the Third Eye Blind Misfit’s page (I'm from Oklahoma, Lauren is from Missouri). The best part of the show was when Stephan noticed Lauren and I screaming along to “How's It Gonna Be” and he threw me his pick. I now have it in a frame :)
