Vegas Lucky for LeCavalier and 3EB

There is more to be found in Las Vegas than endless casinos and all-you-can-eat buffets. Thousands flock to this city to bind themselves eternally to their true (or not-so-true) love. Some of the matches made there barely last a night, but for Third Eye Blind, a much more lasting connection was made. On one fateful day in 2012, the band was scheduled to play in the city for a private event, but their interim bass player wasn’t able to make it to the show. The hands of fate, via various links between the band and Alex, intervened and suggested that he be the bassist to fill in. That event turned out so well, that the band invited him to join as a member.

Third Eye Blind wasn’t the only band to benefit from Alex’s talent during his time in Las Vegas. As a young boy, he learned to play the bass to be a part of his father’s band. He also spent time playing for Darby O’Gill and the Little People as well as Earth Rising.
